shayley hadn't planned to spend the whole day burning a hole in his poket, he really hadn't. this whole day had started out as just an innocent outting to buy some more boxer briefs. but urban outfitters were having a sale and then vans off the wall had six pairs of shoes that shayley decided he couldn't live without. by the time shayley got back to his car, he had six or seven bags. he didn't just buy things for himself, of course. he bought his assistant a necklace, a new pair of shoes, and a couple of shirts and a pair of black skinny jeans. shayley sighed softly. shopping was hard fucking work. he looked around and noticed a coffee shop and decided to get himself an iced chai latte, because what's another five dollars after what he spent today?
after paying the barista for his tea, shay sat down outside, sipping his tea. life was going by perfectly lately for the raven haired man. the label was running smoothly without any bumps. bands were behaving, for the most part, and the paparazzi only had good things to say about pavlove. things were going so smoothly that shay was actually starting to get slightly paranoid. never in his life had he managed to find happiness without the anger or anxiety or pain. the universe always fucked shit up for him, so he couldn't help but expect something bad to happen.
he finished his coffee and drove home, unloading his bags into his room and throwing things in the wash. he really should start working on some paperwork that needed to be done, but he also really wanted to go out in some of the new clothes he bought. he hadn't actually gone out in a long time, so he figured one night couldn't hurt too much. he put on a new outfit and headed out the door.
he went to a local club and headed straight to the bar, ordering himself a vodka tonic. the more he drank the more comfortable he got, but not enough to head out onto the dance floor. he's done that exactly once in his life and he had an anxiety attack, so never again. it was nice watching other people enjoy themselves, so that's what he did, after ordering another vodka tonic of course.
